Whenever you are working with a practitioner who displays only confidence without curiosity, beware. When they only tell you what is true about you without asking you to check it out for yourself, without listening when you disagree, then they have dismissed your own self-authority and self-expertise. How can you trust a person to be accountable to their shadow when they do not accept feedback or accountability?

My responsibility is not to tell Black people how to protest. My responsibility is to tell white spiritual people that, when we say things like this, we are assholes.

Today there's going to be a conjunction of Saturn and Pluto, including a conjunction with the Sun, so astrologically it's a Big Deal. Many astrologers I follow observe that whenever there is a Saturn and Pluto conjunction there also tends to be a spike in Fascism. In service of this I wrote the following allegorical ritual poem that draws on the myths of the Fisher King / Wounded King.

As we sang, “In the midnight hour / I can feel your Power,” late into the night I felt my will in manifestation. Here was an experience I wanted to have, and through my actions and intent I created it. My will was powerful.

We’re all in a building that’s on fire, and most of us are wearing blindfolds. Spiritual practice helps us take the blindfold off. We’re still in the building, but if we can see, there’s more we can do.
